Details of the Job/Internship
Pulastya Legal is looking for candidates with a strong foundation in Intellectual Property laws, particularly in the trademark and copyright domain, who are eager to work in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- A thorough understanding of Intellectual Property laws, particularly trademark laws, including the processes of filing, prosecution, oppositions, renewals, and enforcement.
- Prior experience or practical exposure to handling trademark searches, trademark applications, and responding to examination reports, trademark oppositions and related legal notices.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research, using IP databases (e.g. MikeLegal), and staying updated on the latest developments in IP laws.
- Prior and independent experience in drafting IP and business agreements (with minimal supervision)
- An ability to handle IP-related disputes and manage client portfolios efficiently.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide comprehensive legal opinions and analyses on IP matters.
- A collaborative mindset for teamwork, coupled with the capability to work independently and take initiative.
Eligibility
IP Law Professionals with prior experience in the field (Minimum 1 year of PQE in IP laws). The compensation offered will be commensurate with industry standards, depending on the candidate's expertise and experience.
