RegisterKaro is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IP Associate to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
IP Searches and Filings:
- Perform comprehensive searches for trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents.
- Prepare and file applications for trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents.
- Manage and track the status of filings and ensure timely responses to office actions and other correspondences.
Drafting Pleadings:
- Draft and prepare pleadings for IP-related legal proceedings.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents and briefs.
- Ensure all pleadings comply with legal standards and are filed within required deadlines.
Legal Research:
- Conduct thorough legal research on various IP-related matters.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law and practice.
- Provide well-researched legal opinions and summaries to support case strategies.
Drafting Notices:
- Draft legal notices for IP infringement, opposition, and other related matters.
- Ensure notices are legally sound and effectively communicate the intended message.
- Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to finalize and send notices.
Legal and Technical Advice:
- Provide expert legal and technical advice on IP matters to clients and internal teams.
- Assist clients in understanding their IP rights and the legal implications of their actions.
- Support senior team members in delivering comprehensive IP strategies.
Assistance in Allied Matters:
- Assist senior team members with various allied IP matters and case preparations.
- Participate in meetings, hearings, and negotiations as required.
- Support the team in achieving overall organizational goals.
Eligibility
- LLB (3 years or 5 years) is a must.
- Excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
Salary/Stipend
