Details of the Job/Internship

RegisterKaro is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate with experience of 0 to 1 year to join  their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

IP Searches and Filings:

• Perform comprehensive searches for trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents.
• Prepare and file applications for trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents.
• Manage and track the status of filings and ensure timely responses to office actions and other correspondences.

Drafting Pleadings:

• Draft and prepare pleadings for IP-related legal proceedings.
• Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents and briefs.
• Ensure all pleadings comply with legal standards and are filed within the required deadlines.

Legal Research:

• Conduct thorough legal research on various IP-related matters.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law and practice.
• Provide well-researched legal opinions and summaries to support case strategies.

Drafting Notices:

• Draft legal notices for IP infringement, opposition, and other related matters.
• Ensure notices are legally sound and effectively communicate the intended message.
• Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to finalize and send notices.

Legal and Technical Advice:

• Provide expert legal and technical advice on IP matters to clients and internal teams.
• Assist clients in understanding their IP rights and the legal implications of their actions.
• Support senior team members in delivering comprehensive IP strategies.

Assistance in Allied Matters:

• Assist senior team members with various allied IP matters and case preparations.
• Participate in meetings, hearings, and negotiations as required.
• Support the team in achieving overall organizational goals.

Eligibility

• 1 to 2 years of experience working in IP law firms.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid background in intellectual property law, with hands-on experience in trademark, copyright, design, and patent searches and filings. 
• LLB (3 years or 5 years) is a must.

Skills:

• Excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using legal research tools and software.

Salary/Stipend

INR2,00,000/- to 3,60,000/-LPA
