Details of the Job/Internship

Altacit Global is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate/Advocate to join its office in Coimbatore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and file patent, trademark, copyright, and design applications in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist in developing IP protection, enforcement, and portfolio management strategies.
• Conduct legal research on intellectual property laws, precedents, and international regulations.
• Handle patent and trademark prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, and infringement matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements including licensing, assignments, confidentiality, and technology transfer agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate compliance, governance, and regulatory matters.
• Draft and review corporate documents such as shareholder agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international IP regulations and corporate laws.
• Interact with clients to understand business needs and provide legal solutions.
• Assist in IP litigation and corporate disputes by preparing pleadings, evidence, and arguments.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with a good academic record.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects.
