Details of the Job/Internship
Puthran & Associates (P&A) is hiring for the position of Intellectual Property Attorney to join their office in Madurai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and manage patent applications in compliance with national and international requirements.
- Advise clients on trademark registration, enforcement, and strategy.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex IP matters.
- Represent clients in intellectual property disputes and proceedings, where applicable.
- Maintain strict adherence to ethical practices and client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external associates for seamless execution of client mandates.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) with a specialization in Intellectual Property.
- Proven expertise in patent preparation, prosecution, and IP law.
- Comprehensive understanding of Intellectual Property and Trademark Law.
- Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and advisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in Intellectual Property Law practice is required.
