Details of the Job/Internship
Switching Battery is hiring Licensing Associates to support the CEO’s Office in managing patent licensing.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate licensing agreements for all license partners.
- Maintain databases, reports, and reconcile licensing records.
- Manage correspondence and distribution lists for licensed partners.
- Identify potential licensees and support marketing and outreach strategies.
- Participate in conferences and manage NDAs while ensuring confidentiality.
- Design licensing strategies using market data and support patent commercialization.
- Administer inventions and oversee transfer of rights to third-party licensees.
- Coordinate with General Counsel to ensure legal compliance and patent expense management.
- Monitor and resolve IP issues and support drafting of license agreements.
- Track royalty payments and ensure timely collections from licensees.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent experience in Intellectual Property.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in patent and/or licensing roles.
- Engineering or business background preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
