1 Finance is hiring an Intellectual Property Lawyer with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Goregaon.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to identify and evaluate new inventions for strategic value and patentability.
• Manage the preparation and prosecution of patent applications to protect key innovations.
• Advise on IP strategy, including invention harvesting, patent filings, and other IP matters.
• Collaborate with outside counsel on patent application drafting and prosecution.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate, patentability, and other IP due diligence to support product development.

Eligibility

• 2+ years of experience working with patents in a legal or business environment.
• In-depth knowledge of patent law and the patenting process.
• Excellent communication and organisational.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with software,hardware, product, and legal teams.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
