Details of the Job/Internship

PARIS GROUP is hiring an Intellectual Property Lawyer with experience of 5 years to join their office in Dubai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct trademark availability searches and provide risk assessments.
• Draft, file, and manage trademark applications with relevant authorities.
• Handle office actions, oppositions, and responses to refusals.
• Monitor trademark infringements and initiate appropriate legal action.
• Draft cease-and-desist letters, settlement agreements, and legal notices.
• Assist in trademark litigation, including preparing pleadings and evidence.
• Advise on brand management and anti-counterfeiting strategies.
• Handle domain name disputes and online infringement issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on trademark-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with international trademark laws and treaties.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or LLM).
• Valid license to practice law.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trademark law, including registration, prosecution, litigation, and enforcement.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and enforcing complex legal agreements, including licensing contracts.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in managing global trademark portfolios and knowledge of international trademark laws and procedures.
• Familiarity with domain name disputes and emerging areas of IP law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
