Details of the Job/Internship
Ampersand Group is hiring an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant with around 4 years of experience to join its Mumbai (Malad) office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handling trademarks, including searches, applications, examination replies, oppositions, counter-statements, affidavits, and show cause hearings.
- Drafting and reviewing agreements such as service agreements, MSAs, NDAs, employment agreements, trademark license agreements, and software license agreements.
- Representing the company before intellectual property authorities and attending hearings.
- Conducting legal research and ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Providing legal advice and support to internal stakeholders and departments.
- Managing contract documentation, renewals, and custody of original agreements.
- Coordinating with law firms, counsels, and consultants on legal matters.
- Sharing legal updates, amendments, and important judgments with internal teams.
Eligibility
- LLB qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights, trademarks, and copyrights.
