Details of the Job/Internship

India SME Forum is hiring an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and prosecute IP applications before respective registries.
• Conduct legal research and handle oppositions, hearings, and rectifications.
• Draft and review IP agreements such as licensing and assignments.
• Advise clients on IP protection strategies and compliance.
• Support IP awareness and outreach initiatives.

Eligibility

• LLB (IP specialization preferred); LLM is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in IP.
• Strong research, drafting, and client-handling skills.
