Details of the Job/Internship
Arliza is hiring an Intellectual Property Manager to handle end-to-end trademark filing and prosecution for its in-house brands.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark searches and provide clearance and advisory support for new brand and product launches
- Draft, file, and prosecute trademark applications
- Prepare and file replies to examination reports and objections
- Handle trademark hearings and follow-ups with the Trademark Registry
- Manage renewals, oppositions, assignments, and recordals
- Maintain complete trademark documentation, timelines, and IP records
- Ensure compliance with the Indian Trade Marks Act and Rules
- Coordinate with advocates, authorities, and external stakeholders when required
- Support brand expansion initiatives from an IP protection perspective
Eligibility
- Registered Trademark Agent or Attorney (preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in trademark prosecution
- Strong working knowledge of Indian Trademark Law and practice
- Experience with the IP India online filing system
- Excellent legal drafting, documentation, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail with strong deadline and docket management abilities
