Details of the Job/Internship

RegisterKaro is hiring an IPR Manager with 5–10 years of experience to lead their intellectual property and legal compliance functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IP assets, including trademark searches, filings, and opposition proceedings.
• Oversee patent and design filings, coordinating prosecution and examination responses.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial and corporate agreements to ensure legal alignment.
• Handle consumer disputes, draft responses to legal notices, and manage resolution processes.
• Coordinate with external counsel to manage litigation, prepare pleadings, and track case records.
• Advise management on IP strategy, risk mitigation, and the legal implications of business decisions.
• Ensure timely renewals and maintenance of the global and domestic IP portfolio.
• Monitor changes in IP laws and industry practices to ensure organizational compliance.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); an LLM or specialization in IP Law is preferred.
• Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in IP management and legal compliance.
• Strong substantive knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Design laws.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting and negotiation within a corporate or law firm setting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high professionalism.
• Availability: Must be able to start immediately.
