Details of the Job/Internship
LexAnalytico Consulting is hiring an Intellectual Property Paralegal with experience of 3 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
Patent and Trademark Prosecution:
- Assist in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent, trademark, copyright and design applications.
- Monitor and manage IP docketing, ensuring timely responses to office actions and deadlines.
- Prepare and file necessary forms and documents with the Indian Patent office, the United States.
- Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other international IP offices.
IP Portfolio Management:
- Maintain and organize IP portfolios, including monitoring maintenance and renewal deadlines.
- Coordinate with foreign associates for international IP filings and maintenance.
- Track and report on the status of pending IP applications and registered IP assets.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and organized IP files and records.
- Prepare and manage IP-related billings of foreign associates.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IP paralegal, with experience in patent and trademark filing and prosecution.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian, US and international IP laws, procedures, and filing systems. Familiarity with IP management software and docketing systems.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and research skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevantvsoftware.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and external partners.
