Details of the Job/Internship
Scry AI is hiring an Intellectual Property Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join their team in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Support filings across multiple jurisdictions and maintain updated IP dockets, records, and status reports.
- Prosecution Support: Assist in preparing patent applications, including inventor disclosures and prior art documentation, while coordinating trademark searches and renewals.
- Deadlines and Compliance: Track critical filing, prosecution, and maintenance deadlines to ensure global compliance.
- Documentation: Organize IP-related agreements such as NDAs and invention assignment agreements, ensuring adherence to internal documentation standards.
- Collaboration: Work with R&D and product teams to collect invention disclosures and assist leadership with IP due diligence for partnerships or investments.
- Reporting: Streamline IP workflows and prepare periodic status reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in IP law, patent/trademark prosecution, or corporate legal support within tech/SaaS organizations.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with patent office procedures and familiarity with IP management tools and docketing systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptionally detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (implied for paralegal roles).
