Details of the Job/Internship
OmniActive Health Technologies is hiring for the position of Intellectual Property Specialist with 3-7 years of experience to join them in their Thane office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Patentability search, Patent Landscaping, Novelty search, FTO Analysis, Product Search, Patent-Mapping
- Searching relevant patents/applications using specific keywords on the paid databases (PatSeer), as well as free databases like Espacenet, Google patent, INpa, s,s, etc.
- Patentability opinion
- Drafting of patent application: Provisional and Complete specification
- Prosecution: Filling responses to Examination reports, handling Pre post-grant oppositions
- Reply to Office Action/ Examination Report/ Hearing Notice
- Preparing and Filling Forms to the PatentOfficee and handling patent office quires
- Making IP strategies
- Maintain and update of patent portfolio
- Patent-related documentation and communication with support functions
- Monitoring patent budget and patent expenditure
- Keeping track of monthly invoices, communications from attorneys, database providers, and agreement documents. Search, FTO Analysis, Product Search, Patent-Mapping,
Eligibility
Education:
- M. Pharmacy/M.Sc. (Pharmaceutical , Chemistry/Chemistry)
- Registered patent agent in India (Preferred)
Experience:
- 3-7 years experience in IPR management
Skills & Competencies:
- Prior-art Searches on a various databases
- Drafting, Filling, Prosecuting and Maintaining the patent Project Management Skills
