Details of the Job/Internship
Makeo is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in Mumbai. This is a 3–6 month internship designed for law students or recent graduates to work closely with both legal and business teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and employment contracts.
- Conduct detailed legal research on corporate laws and healthcare-specific regulations.
- Support internal compliance and documentation processes to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate closely with HR, operations, and business teams on legal requirements.
- Assist in handling legal communications and provide basic litigation support.
- Prepare legal summaries and internal reports for cross-functional stakeholders.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM students or recent graduates.
- Strong interest in Corporate Law and Compliance.
- Good drafting and legal research skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Availability to work from the Mumbai office for 3–6 months.
