Details of the Job/Internship
Amay Bajaj & Co. is hiring a Legal Intern for the period February to May 2026 to join its office in Indore. This is a full-time, on-site internship involving legal research, drafting, court assistance, client interaction, and hands-on training under seasoned advocates, with regular exposure to courtroom proceedings across various courts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation.
- Draft motions and other legal documents.
- Assist in preparation for depositions and court proceedings.
- Support litigation work before the High Court, District Courts, Family Courts, and other forums.
- Assist seasoned advocates and undergo practical training.
- Interact with clients and attend courtroom hearings.
- Maintain detailed case documentation to support litigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Strong legal intellect with willingness to deeply engage in legal work.
- Punctual and disciplined approach to professional responsibilities.
- Prior experience of working at a lawyer’s office.
- Exposure to court systems including High Courts, District Courts, and other forums.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Good research and drafting skills, with prior projects subject to review.
- Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with commitment to ethics.
- Bar Council registration mandatory.
