Details of the Job/Internship

GLG is currently accepting applications for the position of Legal Apprentice under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) in Gurugram.

• This 6-month apprenticeship offers structured, hands-on training in corporate legal operations.
• Guided by experienced legal professionals, apprentices will gain valuable practical exposure in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop a foundational understanding of corporate legal documentation, including NDAs, agreements, and compliance forms.
• Assist with legal research in company law, commercial law, and global regulatory frameworks.
• Learn the essentials of contract lifecycle management, document organization, and legal process workflows.
• Support the legal team in vendor contract reviews, updating legal trackers, and assisting with entity compliance documentation.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business and operations.

Eligibility

• A Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized law school with strong academic credentials.
• Eligibility for registration under NATS (Board of Apprenticeship Training) as a Graduate Apprentice.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to adapt to digital platforms/tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• A proactive, responsible, and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Ability to stay organized, manage tasks efficiently, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with openness to feedback and guidance.
