Details of the Job/Internship
Lex Rangers is hiring a Legal Intern – Corporate and Investment Law for a full-time, on-site internship at its Gurugram office. The internship is for a duration of 1 to 3 months and provides hands-on exposure to corporate, PE/VC, and startup-related legal work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing, summarising, and drafting general corporate agreements and commercial contracts.
- Support due diligence and preparation of reports for private equity and venture capital transactions.
- Review incorporation documents, statutory records, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in drafting, vetting, and proofreading transaction documents, including term sheets, shareholders’ agreements, and share subscription agreements.
- Conduct legal research on corporate and regulatory matters.
- Participate in internal discussions on transaction structuring.
Eligibility
- Law student in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year programme, or 2nd year or above of a 3-year programme.
- Strong interest in corporate law, startup law, and investment transactions.
- Prior internship experience in a corporate law firm or in-house legal team is preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and MS Office tools.
