The Centre for Research on Intellectual Property Rights (CRIPR) at Unitedworld School of Law, Karnavati University, Gandhinagar, is dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). It regularly organizes national, regional, and international seminars, conferences, and workshops addressing contemporary issues in IPR.

Details of the Conference/Seminar

The upcoming International Conference on “Intellectual Property in the Digital Age: Navigating Legal, Ethical & Technological Horizons” aims to bring together academicians, legal practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts to explore the evolving dimensions of intellectual property (IP) in the context of rapid technological advancements.

Submission Guidelines

• The Abstract shall not exceed 250 words. (Including 3-5 keywords)
• Abstract/full paper must contain the details of the author and co-author. Complete address, e-mail id, and mobile number. The details of all the author/s should include their name, academic and professional qualifications, institutional affiliation, and current designation under the Title of the Paper. A maximum of one Co-author is allowed.
• The Abstract should be followed by an outline of the paper with a brief discussion including a clear statement of the research’s objective, methodology, important findings, implications, and key references.
• The submission of the abstract/full paper must be in MS Word only. (No other format will be accepted)
• The word file containing the abstract & full paper has to be saved and uploaded in the name of the author along with the title of the paper. (Example- Author’s Name_Title of the paper)
• The Submission of abstract/full paper which is made through google form will only be considered. Abstract/Full paper submitted through email id will not be entertained.
• A separate google link for uploading the full paper will be shared with the registered participants.
• A full paper must include a Title, abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Conclusion, etc. The length of the full paper including tables, diagrams, illustrations, references, etc. shall not be less than 3500 words and shall not exceed 5000 words.
• The citations must conform to OSCOLA citation style.
• The submission should be accompanied by a separate word file containing a disclaimer to the effect that the piece is original and has not been published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere. Google link will be provided to the registered participants for the same.
• The abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the organizing committee, and only shortlisted abstracts will be invited to submit final papers.
• The final paper should be submitted after the intimation of acceptance of the abstract.
• No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last dates of submission, respectively.
• Participants/Paper Presenters have to pay the required registration fees only after the acceptance of the abstract.
• All submissions are subject to a Plagiarism check.
• Upon selection of the Abstract, the participants shall submit the full paper.

Formatting Guidelines

The abstract/full paper should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5-line spacing, and the footnotes in Times New Roman, font size 10, with single-line spacing. Paper title in 14 (Bold) and all sub-headings in 12 (Bold) and line spacing at 1.5.

• Date of Registration 01/01/2025 onwards.
• Date for receipt of the abstract 01/01/2025 onwards.
• Notification of Acceptance of the Abstract Within a week from the date of submission.
• Receipt of full paper 12/02/2025.
• Date of Conference 22/02/2025.
