The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, established under the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, is among India’s most prominent law schools known for excellence in interdisciplinary education and research.The Centre for Law and Economics (CLE) fosters interdisciplinary research at the intersection of law and economics, advancing scholarship, policymaking, and academic development.
Details of the Conference/Seminar
The conference aims to explore how the synergies of law and economics can support India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047. It will deliberate on legal and economic frameworks for governance, entrepreneurship, trade, technology, and social equity, encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue through research presentations and discussions.

Call for Papers

Best Paper Award: Selected papers will be considered for publication in the GNLU Journal of Law and Economics (Scopus Indexed), after double-blind peer review and revisions.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstract: 200–300 words, with 5–6 keywords.
- Full Paper: 3000–5000 words (excluding references).
- Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx), Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 spacing.
- Citation Style: 20th Edition Harvard Bluebook.
- Plagiarism Limit: Maximum 10%, AI-generated content: max 10%.
- Co-authorship: Allowed up to 2 authors (both must register).
Formatting Guidelines
- Title page to include: Paper title, sub-theme, author(s) details, designation, institution, and contact details.
- Abstract and final paper must adhere strictly to formatting rules; non-compliance will result in rejection.
