Details of the Job/Internship

Bright is inviting law students to intern with them at their Bengaluru Office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct research on UDAAP and Federal trade commission.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with existing regulations and monitor updates to legal frameworks.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing documents such as NDAs, vendor contracts, employment contracts, and terms & conditions.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with India’s data privacy laws (e.g., IT Act, Data Protection Bill).
• Support in drafting privacy policies and internal guidelines to protect customer data.
• Conduct research on regulations governing new financial products or services, including loans, credit cards, and payment gateways.
• Review third-party agreements to ensure they align with the company’s legal and compliance framework.
• Organize and maintain legal documents in an efficient and compliant manner.

Eligibility

• Recent graduates holding degree of LLB or LLM
• Strong interest in corporate law, compliance, and fintech.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
