DS Advocates is hiring an Internship Trainee with an understanding of tax law to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed case notes for ongoing litigation.
- Compare various legislative provisions to assist in building legal strategies.
- Draft legal documents and assist in the preparation of case files.
- Participate in case analysis sessions and support client meetings.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Maintain organized case trackers and professional correspondence under supervision.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent), or a recent graduate.
- Mandatory completion of an Income-tax course.
- Strong understanding of the basic principles of taxation and tax law.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional office environment.
