Details of the Job/Internship

Arya Legal & Co looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Intern to join them at their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting legal research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents related to civil and criminal matters
• Analyzing legal documents, contracts, and evidence to support case preparation.
• Drafting and Documentation
• Assisting in drafting legal documents such as petitions, complaints, affidavits, and notices
• Preparing case summaries, legal opinions, and memos
• Reviewing and organizing case files for court proceedings
• Observing court proceedings to understand litigation processes
• Assisting in the preparation of arguments and cross-examination notes
• Maintaining records of court dates, judgments, and filings
• Attending client meetings to understand case details and requirements
• Taking notes during client interviews and documenting facts for case preparation
• Assisting in gathering and verifying evidence for civil and criminal cases
• Coordinating with external agencies or witnesses for case-related information
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in laws, amendments, and judicial decisions
• Ensuring compliance with court and procedural regulations
• Managing schedules, filing documents, and maintaining legal databases
• Supporting senior advocates and associates with day-to-day tasks
