Details of the Job/Internship
Lex Bharti Chambers is hiring an Intern/Associate with an experience level suitable for final-year law students to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and perform comprehensive case law analysis for ongoing matters.
- Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, applications, and petitions.
- Assist senior advocates in day-to-day court proceedings and active litigation work.
- Support the chambers in preparing briefs and evidentiary records for criminal and civil cases.
- Attend hearings and coordinate with court registries to manage filings and case status.
- Collaborate with the team on strategic case planning for commercial and banking disputes.
Eligibility
- Currently a final-year law student (5-year or 3-year LLB program).
- Available for a full-time, on-site commitment from May to July 2026.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply; prior internships in litigation are an advantage.
- Foundational knowledge of Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, and Commercial Laws.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., SCC Online, Manupatra).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
