Details of the Job/Internship
MantraCare is looking for a driven and proactive Legal Intern to join their team and support the day-to-day operations of their legal department at their office in Greater Delhi Area. This internship offers hands-on exposure to a variety of legal functions in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research on various topics, including corporate law, civil law, and contract law.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Assist in the preparation of legal reports, case summaries, and presentations.
- Support the legal team in ongoing litigation and legal matters.
- Attend client meetings, observe legal proceedings, and assist with case preparation.
- Maintain legal records, documentation, and databases.
- Stay updated on legal developments and news relevant to the firm's practice areas.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (LLB or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of basic legal concepts and procedures.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Manupatra, LexisNexis, or similar platforms.
- Experience in drafting legal documents or contracts (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of corporate law, intellectual property law, or litigation is a plus.
