Details of the Job/Internship

Oberoi & Partners is inviting applications for their Corporate Legal Internship in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in drafting and reviewing transaction documents, including shareholder agreements, investment agreements, founders’ agreements, and commercial contracts
• Supporting due diligence exercises for M&A and PE/VC transactions
• Conducting legal research on corporate laws, FEMA, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and related compliance frameworks
• Assisting in IPR filings, trademark strategy, portfolio management, and enforcement research
• Supporting transaction structuring and regulatory analysis
• Preparing internal notes, client briefs, and transaction summaries

Eligibility

• Currently (3 - 5 years) pursuing a degree in Law (LL.B./LL.M.) with a focus on Corporate Law, Commercial Laws, or IPR.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Foundational understanding of Corporate Law, Company Law, and Transaction Structuring.
• Basic knowledge of Intellectual Property Law (Trademarks, Copyright, Brand Protection).
• Ability to review and interpret contracts and legal documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment.
