Details of the Job/Internship
OnSpot Legal is opening applications for its 8-week remote Summer Student Research Fellow program.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research at the intersection of HCI, AI, law, and human psychology.
- Analyze AI consumption patterns and user trust within the legal technology space.
- Explore themes of legal literacy and how digital interfaces influence user behavior.
- Study the real-world application of privacy and data laws in the context of emerging technology.
- Translate "messy" observations and raw data into sharp, structured research insights.
- Interview and observe users to understand their psychological reliance on AI tools.
- Collaborate with the team on interdisciplinary projects that impact legal awareness and decision-making.
- Assist in drafting research papers and documentation for publication.
Eligibility
- Open to students from any stream of study.
- Preferred: Students currently enrolled in Law Universities.
- Genuine curiosity about the interplay between technology and human behavior.
- Strong interest in deep reading, writing, interviewing, and behavior analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment for the full 8-week duration.
- Excellence in asking critical questions and identifying non-obvious human patterns.
