Rahul Singh’s Office, State Information Commissioner has come into an MoU with Zenith Society for Socio-Legal Empowerment to make the system more transparent and accountable. He's issued a bunch of landmark orders to make sure the system is transparent, set up an RTI helpline number for people, and started hearing cases online on WhatsApp and making it accessible to people in remote areas. 

Details of the Job/Internship

Rahul Singh's Office is inviting interns to work with them in Madhya Pradesh in partnership with Zenith Society, which is a non-profit organization that helps people with legal issues.

• Duration: At least 4 weeks (October to December), commencing from the second week of October, that is, after the 11 of October. 
• Mode: On-site, Bhopal 
• Work: Right to Information Act, of 2005
• Benefit: A certificate of completion of the internship.

Role and Responsibilities

• The Candidate will get to learn about different topics related to RTI, the Indian Constitution, the Public Records Act, the Official Secrets Act, and related laws.
• The Candidate would be responsible for conducting research in support of the adjudicative process, communicating with the Appellant and officers, preparing case briefs, and complementing the live and online proceedings of the Court of First Instance.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Law or Humanities.
• Excellent understanding of both Hindi and English.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs and Sheets.
• The candidate demonstrates inventiveness, initiative, passion and attention to detail.
