Umbrella Legal is hiring a Patent Intern to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct prior art searches across patent and non-patent literature.
• Assist in patent drafting and claim structuring.
• Support patent prosecution and office action responses.
• Perform patentability, novelty, and infringement analysis.
• Prepare technical summaries and reports.

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent engineering degree.
• Strong interest in patents and intellectual property law.
• LL.B. is optional.
• Strong technical fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good written communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word and research tools.
