Details of the Job/Internship

Verum Legal is inviting applications for its legal internship at its office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Corporate transactions, structuring, and documentation.
• Legal due diligence and compliance advisory.
• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, term sheets, and board resolutions.
• Research and drafting work for litigations matters at District Courts as well as High Courts. 
• Regulatory research across SEBI, Companies Act, and allied legislation.
• Startup advisory and founder-side legal support including IP matters. 
• Assisting with client requests, local registration, police station work and drafting legal opinions. 
• Attending and assisting in client meetings and firm events.
• Organising and maintaining matter files, trackers, and research notes.

Eligibility

• Penultimate or final year law students with a strong interest in corporate law.
• Sharp research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle real workloads with ownership and attention to detail.
• Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad for the internship period.
