Details of the Job/Internship

WISE – Women in Solar Energy invites applications for the position of Gender Policy Intern to work with them in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• The intern will assist in researching, analyzing, and developing policies to promote gender equity in the energy sector.
• Responsibilities will include conducting literature reviews, preparing reports, contributing to policy documents, and supporting workshops or webinars.
• The role also involves engaging with stakeholders to strengthen WISE’s outreach and support for initiatives aligned with its mission.

Eligibility

• Strong research and analytical skills, particularly in gender studies, policy development, or related topics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to prepare reports, presentations, and policy briefs.
• Prior experience or coursework in renewable energy, sustainability, or social impact initiatives is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Gender Studies, or a related field 
• Passion for gender equity and sustainable development.

Salary/Stipend

Stipend: ₹10,000 per month (industry-standard remuneration for policy internships in the sector).
