Details of the Job/Internship

Begur & Partners is hiring an Investment Fund Lawyer with experience of 3 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to the formation and operation of investment funds.
• Advise clients on legal, regulatory, and tax implications of fund structures and investment strategies.
• Work closely with fund managers to ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on fund marketing materials and investor communications to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and expert advice.

Eligibility

• A law degree from a reputable law school.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant legal experience in investment fund management, with a law firm or in-house at a financial institution.
