Details of the Job/Internship
Kwalee is hiring an IP Administrator with at least 2 years of experience to join its in-house legal team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor global app stores and online platforms to detect IP infringements and piracy.
- Collect and document evidence for enforcement and submit takedown requests (DMCA, etc.).
- Track takedown outcomes and escalate repeat violations.
- Maintain Kwalee’s IP registration docket and manage renewal deadlines.
- Serve as the main contact for external IP law firms and manage related correspondence.
- Prepare formal legal documents such as powers of attorney and assignments.
- Oversee invoice processing, filing fees, and financial coordination for IP-related matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in IP administration, paralegal, or docketing roles.
- Proficiency in electronic IP docketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of trademark and copyright processes.
- Familiarity with digital enforcement procedures like DMCA and online content monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
