Details of the Job/Internship
Intepat is hiring an IP Associate to join its Bengaluru office. The role involves working on a wide range of trademark and patent matters across Indian and international jurisdictions and supporting clients on diverse intellectual property projects.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting trademark and patent searches and preparing structured reports.
- Drafting, reviewing, and assisting in filing trademark and patent applications in India and internationally.
- Preparing and filing responses to examination reports, oppositions, counter-statements, and related proceedings.
- Managing IP documentation, e-filing, and statutory form preparation.
- Maintaining docketing systems and client portfolio records.
- Coordinating with the Trade Marks Registry, Patent Office, and other authorities.
- Supporting client communications, including reports, updates, and advisories.
- Proofreading and formatting filings, pleadings, and client deliverables.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of trademark and patent law concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, IP databases, and online filing platforms.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
