Details of the Job/Internship
Intepat is hiring an IP Associate to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark and patent searches and prepare reports.
- Draft, review, and assist in filing trademark and patent applications.
- Prepare and file responses to examination reports, oppositions, and related proceedings.
- Manage IP documentation, e-filing, and statutory form preparation.
- Maintain and update docketing systems and client portfolio records.
- Coordinate with the Trade Marks Registry, Patent Office, and other authorities.
- Support client communications by drafting reports, updates, and advisories.
- Proofread and format filings, pleadings, and client deliverables.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of trademark and patent law concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, IP databases, and online filing platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute.
