Details of the Job/Internship
Peritum Partners is hiring an IP Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end IP prosecution process, including trademarks, patents, or designs.
- Provide strategic legal advice on IP rights, infringement, and enforcement.
- Draft and file responses to examination reports and other office actions.
- Conduct IP searches, clearances, and due diligence for clients.
- Assist in IP litigation and dispute resolution matters as required.
- Maintain and monitor client IP portfolios to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
- Collaborate with the internal team to deliver tailored IP strategies for diverse sectors.
Eligibility
- Experience: 2-3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) specifically in Intellectual Property law.
- Specialized Knowledge: Proven experience in IP prosecution and general IP practice.
- Competencies: Ability to work independently in a hands-on, focused team environment.
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Law (LLB) with a strong foundation in IP statutes.
