Details of the Job/Internship
Wipro is hiring an IP Attorney with experience of 7 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead patent analytics projects. Perform Freedom to Operate searches, Evidence of Use searches, prepare Evidence of Use charts, and Invalidity searches.
- Undertake IP training across different business verticals of Wipro.
- Advise business stakeholders on different IP matters or issues related to patents, copyrights, trademark, and trade secrets.
- Review IP contracts such as patent licensing agreements, product licensing agreements, IP clauses in MSA, SOW and other IP agreements.
- This person would be working as a part of the IP Legal team in Wipro.
- This person would be responsible for coordinating with the inventors to understand the invention and perform patentability searches, draft patent applications, and coordinate with the law firm to draft and review the patent application.
- Well-versed with patent law across jurisdictions such as India, Europe, and the US. Respond/review the response to Office actions and rejections from patent offices.
Eligibility
- Masters/Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications and other related disciplines.
- Master/Bachelor’s in Law is preferred.
- Experience of at least 7 years in the field of Intellectual Property. In-house experience and an IP Attorney is preferred.
- Registered patent agent in India.
- In-depth knowledge of patent prosecution, patent drafting, and patent analytics.
- Well-versed with the new and upcoming technology in the field of software and telecommunication such as Gen AI, IOT, Block chain, etc.
- Experience in reviewing IP Contracts is preferred.
