Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring an IP Lead – Patents with 5–10 years of experience to join its IPCELL team in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

Conduct invention mining sessions and translate innovations into strong patent applications.
Build and implement patent protection strategies in consultation with technology teams.
Perform prior art searches, assess novelty, and refine invention disclosures.
Draft, review, and prosecute patent applications in India, the US, and Europe.
Manage and strengthen Infosys’ global patent portfolio.
Collaborate with inventors and internal stakeholders to maximize IP value.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Law/Technology.
5–10 years of experience in IP law and patents.
Strong knowledge of US, European, and Indian patent laws.
Registered patent agent preferred.
Expertise in AI, automation, machine learning, and software systems.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
