Details of the Job/Internship
Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring an IP Legal Specialist with 4+ years of substantive IP prosecution experience to join their Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the IP docketing system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track IP-related deadlines and ensure timely compliance.
- Perform quality review of patent applications and filing documents.
- Handle formalities across U.S. and foreign jurisdictions.
- Review and process IP correspondence, invoices, and case data.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding IP matters.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries on IP activities.
- Support portfolio development through filings, renewals, and related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IP strategy and initiatives.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of legal and industry-specific experience, or Paralegal Certificate with 3+ years of experience, or High School diploma with 6+ years of experience.
- Minimum 4 years of substantive IP prosecution experience at a law firm, corporation, or IP management company.
- Strong understanding of IP laws and regulations.
- Experience with IP docketing (preferred).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with IP docketing software and relevant tools.
