Details of the Job/Internship
Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring a Legal Specialist (Intellectual Property) with 4 or more years of substantive IP prosecution experience to join their Gurgaon office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the IP docketing system and ensure accuracy of records.
- Track IP-related deadlines and ensure timely completion of actions.
- Conduct quality review of patent applications and filing documents.
- Handle formalities across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
- Review correspondence, invoices, and case-level data as per defined procedures.
- Process incoming IP correspondence and support IP filings and renewals.
- Prepare reports and summaries on IP activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IP strategies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3+ years of experience in the legal field and 3+ years of IP-related experience.
- Alternatively, a Paralegal Certificate or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
- Minimum 4 years of substantive IP prosecution experience at a law firm, corporation, or IP management company.
- Proficiency in IP docketing software and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of IP laws and procedures.
