Details of the Job/Internship
Chadha & Chadha, located in Gurugram, is offering a full-time on-site role for an IP Litigation Associate. Join their team and be responsible for handling litigation matters related to intellectual property.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive legal research.
- Drafting pleadings and other legal documents.
- Representing clients in court proceedings.
- Providing support in other areas of IP practice, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Appearing in courts and advocating for clients in all aspects of litigation.
- Collaborating with the legal team to strategize and plan case presentations.
- Ensuring adherence to legal guidelines and deadlines.
- Maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Keeping abreast of developments in IP laws and regulations.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and case management as required.
Eligibility
- Prior IP Litigation Experience: 2-3 years
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Experience in drafting court pleadings as well as legal opinions
- Ability to appear before Courts and represent clients in all aspects of litigation
- Experience in attending hearings before the IPO (Prosecution and Opposition)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Experience in IP laws, litigation, or related fields is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law from a recognized university
