Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is hiring an IP Manager with experience of 5+ years to join their Pune Division.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and business teams to identify innovations and assess patentability.
- Support the development of IP strategy and expansion of the patent portfolio.
- Assist in negotiations with third-party partners on IP-related matters.
- Manage IP-related processes in coordination with outside counsel.
- Conduct patentability assessments and clearance evaluations.
- Provide guidance on IP contracting and risk mitigation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, intellectual property, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in intellectual property analysis, portfolio management, or patent prosecution support.
- Strong technical background with experience in analyzing and protecting control systems, mechanical equipment, and software-driven innovations.
- Familiarity with software licensing, open-source compliance, and digital IP matters.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting patent preparation and prosecution.
- At least 2 years of experience reviewing and negotiating IP-related agreements with third parties.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
