Details of the Job/Internship

S.S. Rana & Co. is seeking a dynamic IP Partner with 12–20 years of experience to spearhead its expansion in Mumbai or Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's expansion and growth strategy in the Mumbai or Bangalore regions.
• Establish and grow a robust IP client base through active business development and client origination.
• Oversee complex portfolios across Patents, Trademarks, Copyright, and Designs.
• Direct IP enforcement strategies and lead high-value IP litigation and contentious matters.
• Provide strategic advisory services on international and domestic IP protection and monetization.
• Manage and mentor a team of legal professionals to ensure excellence in work product and delivery.
• Act as a key representative of the firm in high-level client interactions and industry forums.
• Drive the scaling of S.S. Rana & Co.’s presence through strategic networking and operational leadership.

Eligibility

• LLB (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized university; an LLM is preferred.
• 12–20 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in the IP sector.
• Demonstrated expertise across Patents, Trademarks, Copyright, Designs, and IP Litigation.
• Proven track record in client origination and business development.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing large legal teams.
• Exceptional entrepreneurial drive and the ability to build a practice from the ground up.
• Exposure to both domestic and international IP frameworks and judicial systems.
