Details of the Job/Internship
Siemens Healthineers is hiring an IP Professional with experience of 3–6 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Counsel R&D and engineering teams to identify and harvest high-quality inventions.
- Conduct comprehensive patent searches and technical research to assess patentability and competitive landscapes.
- Manage the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications and software copyright registrations.
- Provide IP counseling on transactions, including drafting and negotiating collaboration and licensing agreements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsels across different geographies.
- Conduct product IP clearances and patent investigations to support business objectives.
- Deliver IP awareness training to employees and monitor changes in Indian IP legislation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering.
- Preferably a Law Degree (LL.B.) with an IP specialization.
- 3–6 years of experience as a practicing attorney in the IP field.
- Must be a Registered Patent Agent in India.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct IP counseling to business teams.
- Proven experience in patent drafting and prosecution across multiple jurisdictions.
