Details of the Job/Internship

Nayara Energy is looking for a candidate for the position of JGM- Legal with 10 to 15 years of experience to join them at Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise all functions in legal matters and liaise with external legal firms where needed to minimize the legal risk exposure. In particular handle all legal matters such as agreements with third parties and ensure that official and contractual documents are in line with relevant laws and regulations.
• Negotiating, drafting and closing commercial agreements and related matters such as subcontractor agreements, NDA’s, statements of work, direct and indirect licensing agreements, alliance/partnering agreements, support agreements, marketing agreements, and distribution/channel agreements.
• Working with internal business partners on education and planning and advising business leaders on significant legal issues impacting the business, including the drafting and hands-on negotiation of diverse commercial agreements.
• Support in new business models or legal requirements for various business / functions.
• To advise on business problems with the best legal research.
• Ensure that the business’s interests are at all times secured and protected, either through preventive or remedial action/opinion.
• Provide legal assistance by way of contract review, MnA support and provide legal advice on a need basis.
• Work on Special projects as and when assigned by the Management and General Counsel.

 

Eligibility

• Total Experience : 10 - 15 years.
• Relevant Experience: 10 years post qualification.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
