The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi is the law department of the University of Delhi. It has the unique distinction of producing the largest number of sitting judges of the Supreme Court of India.
Details of the Job/Internship
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate to work on the Research Project titled “Traditional Wisdom and Indigenous Communities: A Research Study of Traditional Knowledge of Tribal Groups: A Special Focus on Aspirational Districts of Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Maharashtra and Kerala” sponsored by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
The appointment will be purely on a contractual basis, for a period of not more than three months. The appointment is subject to approval by the University of Delhi and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. It will be a co-terminus with the tenure of the project.
- Note: Interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be held online mode. Selection of the candidates will be held as per university rules through a project appointment committee.

- Desirable: Applicants who are well-versed in the local tribal languages of Meghalaya, Maharashtra, and Kerala.
Role and Responsibilities
The Research Project will be carried out under the supervision of:
- Dr. Ashutosh Mishra (Project Investigator), Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi,
- Dr. Ajay Sonawane, CoProject Investigator), Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and
- Dr. Ashutosh Acharya (Co-Project Investigator), Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
The research will include both empirical and non-empirical modes of research.
