Details of the Job/Internship

Akshay Ramesh Gutka is seeking a highly motivated Junior Advocate to join our dynamic legal team in Mumbai. The Junior Advocate will play a key role in assisting with day-to-day legal advocacy, case management, client representation, and legal research. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate legal professional looking to further develop their skills in a fast-paced legal environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various legal issues and case details.
• Assist in preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and petitions.
• Represent clients in court under the guidance of senior advocates.
• Manage and track case progress, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.
• Attend court proceedings and assist in case preparation and strategy formulation.
• Stay up to date with changes in the Indian legal system and procedures.

Eligibility

• Law degree (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to represent clients effectively in court and provide advocacy support.
• Proven case management skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Indian legal system, rules, and court procedures.
• Prior experience in litigation or legal practice is an advantage but not required.
