AlexaPartners Private Limited is hiring a Junior Advocate with experience of 0 to 2 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• The role will primarily involve drafting legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, and providing support in arbitration proceedings.
• You will assist in litigation efforts, including commercial disputes and cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act related to cheque dishonor, and will also support e-filing processes and the payment of court fees on the portal

Eligibility

• LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate legal certifications or specialization in a particular area of law is a plus.
• 0-2 years of experience in a law firm, legal department, or similar legal practice.
• Fresh graduates with strong legal research, drafting, and litigation skills are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedural laws, and case law.
• Proficiency in drafting various legal documents like a Master Service Agreement (MSA) and a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), including pleadings, petitions, contracts, and authorization letters.
• Familiarity with e-filing systems and case management software.
• Good understanding of arbitration processes and legal scrutiny.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
