The Center for Law and Legislative Research is hiring a Junior Advocate to join their office in New Delhi. This is a full-time hybrid role requiring the Junior Advocate to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and support both litigation and advisory matters. The role includes reviewing case files, preparing summaries and reports, and collaborating with senior advocates and clients on various legal issues. Some tasks may be completed remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and review case laws.
- Draft legal documents and assist in contract review.
- Support litigation and legal advisory matters.
- Review case files and prepare summaries and reports.
- Collaborate with senior advocates and clients on legal issues.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in legal research, case law analysis, and document review.
- Strong skills in drafting, contract review, and legal writing.
- Understanding of litigation procedures and legal advisory services.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Indian legal systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Possession of a law degree (LLB or equivalent).
- Membership of the Bar Council of Delhi or eligibility to practice in India is highly desirable.
